Making Donuts
Today the year 6 students made donuts. The year 7 and 8 students went to technology at the high school. There were only 6 of us so we worked in two groups as we had 2 donut makers. The donut makers mad different size donuts.
We whipped cream and put about 2 tablespoons of vanilla instant pudding into it, this stops it going runny if it is sitting for a long time. It made it taste a little bit like custard.
We were allowed to eat as many as we liked. We had SO much fun we stayed at morning tea to keep making them. We made enough for the whole school to have seconds.
YUM 
If you ever get a chance you should try them as they are REALLY NICE.

I am amazed about how much you made in the amount of time you had! We have done some cooking at our school as well but we made apple tarts! Where did you find the recipe? ReplyDeleteYour doughnuts look devine! What a great idea to make doughnuts - especially when you are sharing them with the whole school :-) I bet you were very popular that day. I have never added vanilla instant pudding mixture into cream before. Did you like the taste? What recipe did you use for your doughnuts? Maybe you could share it. I have a doughnut maker so would be keen to give them a try.
