Duffy Books - Careers - Election 

We got our Duffy books  this week. It is Government book week and they were handed out to us by Maureen Pugh. She is our local Member Of Parliament (for National).

She talked to us about her Career (we are always looking at Careers so that when we get older we might have heard someone talk about their job and think "wow" I want to do that.

We are also going to study the election and vote when it is election time so it was interesting to have her here. The teacher reminds us that we have to make our own choices about who to vote for so we have lots of listening and reading to do about it when it gets nearer. Our vote will be private but we need to say why we are voting for who we choose.

 We Love getting our Duffy Books and even if we are reading something else most of us drop that and start our Duffy Book straight away.
