French Toast

Today we made French Toast. We put Maple Syrup on top and if we wanted we could cook banana in butter until it was nice and brown and also put that on top. IT WAS YUM !!!! We were allowed to eat as much as we liked and then we cooked for all the adults in the school, they got to choose their toppings too. After that, we cooked some for every child in the school, and some kids who had never eaten it before fell in love with it. We can't wait to make it at home for our families to try.

Ingredients:
·        1 egg
·        1 Tsp pure vanilla extract
·        1/2 Tsp Cinnamon Powder
·        1/4 cup milk
·        4 slices of bread
·        Butter
Method:
1.     Add the egg, vanilla and cinnamon in a bowl. Whisk it well.
2.     Add the milk next and keep stirring.
3.     Now, take a bread slice and dip it in the egg mixture. Make sure the mix coats both sides of the bread slice well.
4.     Melt butter in a pan.

5.     Place the bread in the pan and cook until it turns golden brown on both sides.

It is good to finally get to check out your blog. I am Miss Waho and am a teacher in Te Rōpū Whakamanawa at Ara Tū Whakatā Gilberthorpe School in Christchurch. I didn't get time to have breakfast this morning so seeing your french toast has made me incredibly hungry. It looks delicious and I think I will use your recipe to make some dinner when I get home from school today.
I can see you have done quite a bit of cooking and baking this year already. This has motivated to get some baking happening in our learning space.

Wow looks like you have done a lot on your blog. It was so hard to pick one to comment on but this one sounded the most delicious. I am not a big fan of maple syrup but I will try it. I am looking forward to trying it and making it for my family as most people in my family like maple syrup.
I am excited to comment on more of your posts.
